Perfect Size for Display
I was worried it might be too small, but it fits perfectly in my hand and looks great on my office desk. The wood smells wonderful, very earthy and calming.

Beautiful but delicate
The ornament is gorgeous and well-made. Just be careful with the finer points of the carving as they are delicate. A beautiful addition to my collection.

Authentic Feel
You can tell this is hand-carved. The texture is smooth yet retains the character of the wood. The three eyes are subtly integrated into the design.

Exquisite Detailing
The carving on this Qilin is absolutely stunning. You can see the grain of the Thuja wood clearly, and the three-eyed design adds a unique mystical touch to my living room shelf.

Lovely natural variations
Since it is natural wood, the color varies slightly from the photo, but I actually like that it makes each piece unique. Very happy with this purchase.
Q: What is the significance of the 'three-eyed' design?
A: In various cultural traditions, the third eye often symbolizes wisdom, insight, and spiritual awareness, adding a layer of meaning to this mythical creature.
Q: Is each piece exactly the same as shown in the pictures?
A: While the design is consistent, because each piece is hand-carved from natural Thuja wood, there will be slight variations in grain patterns and color tones, making your item unique.
Q: Is the wood treated with any chemicals or strong varnishes?
A: No, we use only natural oil polish to enhance the grain and protect the wood without using harsh chemicals or synthetic varnishes.
Q: Can this ornament stand on its own, or does it need a base?
A: The Qilin is carved with a flat, stable bottom, so it stands securely on its own on shelves, desks, or mantels without needing an additional base.
Q: How should I clean this if it gets dusty?
A: Simply use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently dust the surface. Avoid using water or cleaning sprays, as moisture can damage the natural wood over time.
