Beautiful but smaller than expected
The quality is outstanding and the carving is very detailed. I just thought it would be slightly larger based on the photos, but it still looks great on my bookshelf.

Exquisite craftsmanship
The detail on the dragon scales and turtle shell is incredible. You can tell this was carved by hand with great care. It feels solid and has a wonderful natural scent.

Calming presence
There is something very grounding about holding this piece. The wood grain is unique, and the dragon turtle motif is executed perfectly. No rough edges at all.

Perfect tea pet
I use this as a tea pet during my Gongfu tea ceremonies. The wood absorbs the tea nicely over time, developing a beautiful patina. A stunning addition to my set.

Lovely natural aroma
The Thuja wood has a pleasant, subtle cedar-like smell that fills the room when you first open the package. The carving is intricate, though one tiny scale chip was present, barely noticeable.

Great gift for collectors
Bought this for my father who loves Asian art. He was thrilled with the symbolism and the smooth finish of the Thuja wood. Highly recommend for anyone looking for unique decor.
Q: What does the Dragon Turtle symbolize?
A: In traditional culture, the Dragon Turtle represents longevity, success, and the attraction of wealth. It is often used as a Feng Shui cure for stability and prosperity.
Q: Is this item safe to place hot tea directly onto?
A: Yes, it is designed as a tea pet. However, we recommend pouring tea over it gradually rather than submerging it in boiling water for long periods to preserve the wood's integrity.
Q: Does every piece look exactly like the photo?
A: Since this is a hand-carved item made from natural wood, grain patterns and minor details will vary slightly from piece to piece, making each one unique.
Q: How should I clean this ornament?
A: Simply wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. If used as a tea pet, allow it to air dry naturally after tea sessions. Avoid using chemical cleaners or soaking it in water.
Q: Is the wood treated with any varnish or lacquer?
A: No, our Thuja wood ornaments are finished naturally without synthetic varnishes or lacquers to maintain the authenticity and breathability of the wood for tea absorption.
