Great quality, slightly smaller than expected
The wood quality is top-notch and the carving is intricate. My only minor critique is that it feels a bit smaller than I imagined from the description, but it still fits perfectly in the palm for handling. Very satisfied overall.

Lovely design, fast shipping
The dragon head design is fierce yet elegant. Shipping was faster than anticipated, and the item arrived safely in its protective box. I deducted one star only because the cord for hanging was a bit thin, but the wood piece itself is flawless.

Authentic and well-made
As a collector of wooden artifacts, I am impressed by the authenticity of this piece. The grain of the Taihang cypress is beautiful, and the finish protects the wood well without looking artificial. A worthy investment.

Exquisite craftsmanship for the Dragon Year
The detail on the dragon head is absolutely stunning. You can tell this was carved by a true master. The cypress wood has a wonderful natural scent and feels smooth to the touch. A perfect addition to my Wenwan collection.

Soothing to hold and display
There is something very calming about holding this piece. The texture of the cypress wood is unique, and the dragon motif brings a great energy to my desk. It has become my favorite fidget object during work.

Beautiful gift for a friend
I bought this as a lucky charm for a friend born in the Year of the Dragon. The packaging was elegant, and the piece itself looks even better in person than in the photos. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates traditional art.
Q: Can this be worn as a necklace pendant?
A: Yes, the piece features a small loop suitable for threading a cord or chain. However, please note that the cord is not included in the package, allowing you to choose a style that matches your preference.
Q: Are there variations in the pattern since it is hand-carved?
A: Absolutely. Because each piece is individually hand-carved from natural wood, slight variations in grain patterns, color tones, and minute details make every item unique. This is a hallmark of authentic craftsmanship.
Q: Does this come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: Yes, every Dragon Year Zodiac Gourd comes packaged with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the workshop, confirming the material source and the handcrafted nature of the item.
Q: How should I care for the cypress wood to maintain its shine?
A: To maintain the luster, simply wipe the piece gently with a soft, dry cloth after handling. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for prolonged periods or submerging it in water. Occasional re-application of natural wood wax is optional but beneficial.
Q: Is the wood treated with any chemicals or strong varnishes?
A: No, our Taihang Cliff Cypress Wood Gourds are finished using only natural beeswax and plant-based oils to preserve the wood's natural aroma and texture. We avoid harsh chemical varnishes.
