Great gift for Year of the Ox
Bought this for my father who was born in the Year of the Ox. He loved it. It feels very solid and smooth to hold. Only giving 4 stars because the color was slightly lighter than pictured, but still lovely.

Perfect pocket size
I carry this in my pocket as a lucky charm. It fits perfectly in the palm of my hand and the rounded edges make it very comfortable to touch when I'm stressed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful craftsmanship and smell
The detail on this little ox is incredible. You can see every muscle and fold in the wood. Plus, the Thuja wood has a wonderful, subtle cedar-like scent that fills my office desk area.

Exceeded expectations
For the price, the quality is outstanding. The wood feels premium and the carving is intricate without being fragile. It makes a great conversation starter on my bookshelf.

Cute and sturdy
Very cute plump design. It looks exactly like the photos. It arrived well-packaged in a small box. My only wish is that it came with a small stand, but it sits flat on its own just fine.

Authentic wood grain
As a woodworker myself, I appreciate the quality of the Thuja wood used here. The grain patterns are unique and the carving style truly reflects the Tang dynasty aesthetic. A great collectible.
Q: How should I clean or maintain this wooden ox?
A: Simply dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water, chemical cleaners, or exposing it to direct sunlight for prolonged periods to preserve the wood's natural finish.
Q: What are the exact dimensions? I need it to fit in a specific display case.
A: The figurine measures approximately 3.5 inches in length, 2.8 inches in height, and 1.9 inches in width. Please note slight variations may occur as each piece is hand-carved.
Q: Is this suitable for children to play with?
A: While the wood is non-toxic and smooth, this item is a collectible ornament. Due to small carved details, we recommend it for ages 14 and up or for display purposes rather than rough play.
Q: Does the wood have a strong scent?
A: Thuja wood has a natural, mild aromatic scent similar to cedar. It is pleasant and not overpowering, and it will gradually fade over time but never completely disappear.
Q: Is this made from real Thuja wood or is it painted to look like it?
A: This is carved from 100% solid natural Thuja wood. The color and grain are natural; no paint or artificial stains are used.
