Perfect starter pair for enthusiasts
As someone new to collecting textured walnuts, this pair is ideal. They are durable, have a unique look, and the seller packaged them very securely to prevent any damage during shipping.

Lovely texture, requires patience to polish
These are beautiful raw walnuts. Be aware that achieving a deep patina takes time and consistent handling. The initial texture is quite rugged, which is exactly what I wanted for hand therapy.

Great for stress relief and collection
I bought these for hand exercise and stress relief. The texture is rough enough to provide good stimulation but smooths out nicely after a few weeks of polishing. The green husk indicates they are fresh harvest.

Exquisite craftsmanship and perfect symmetry
These walnuts are absolutely stunning. The Qilin pattern is deeply defined, and the symmetry between the two nuts in the pair is remarkable. They feel substantial in the hand and are perfect for daily rotation.

Authentic Sizuo Lou quality
You can tell these are genuine Sizuo Lou walnuts. The density is high, producing a nice clicking sound when rotated. The natural green husk adds to the aesthetic before it eventually dries and falls off naturally.

Beautiful pattern, slightly smaller than expected
The Official's Hat shape is very distinct and the ridges are sharp. My only minor critique is that they are slightly smaller than I anticipated from the photos, but the quality of the wood grain makes up for it.
Q: How long does it take for the green husk to dry and fall off?
A: The drying process varies by humidity, but typically the green husk will naturally shrink and detach within 2 to 4 weeks of normal handling and storage.
Q: Do these walnuts come with a protective case?
A: Yes, each pair comes in a traditional wooden display box with a velvet interior to protect the walnuts when not in use.
Q: What is the approximate diameter of these walnuts?
A: The average diameter for this Official's Hat style pair is between 42mm and 44mm, though slight natural variations occur as they are organic products.
Q: Can I use oil to speed up the polishing process?
A: We recommend against using external oils. The best patina comes from the natural oils in your skin through regular hand play and rotation over time.
Q: Are these suitable for beginners or only advanced collectors?
A: They are suitable for all levels. Beginners appreciate the durability and distinct shape, while advanced collectors value the specific Qilin pattern and symmetry.
