Great results on black walnuts
Used this to speed up the aging process on some black walnuts I collected. It worked very well, though I had to apply a second coat to get the deep dark tone I wanted. Still, much faster than waiting months.

Perfect for my gourd collection!
I was amazed at how quickly this powder transformed my fresh gourds into looking like decades-old heirlooms. The application was straightforward, and the color developed evenly without any blotchiness.

Good value for money
A little goes a long way. I've used about a quarter of the jar for five large gourds. The only reason for 4 stars is that the instructions could be slightly more detailed regarding water ratios.

A game changer for artisans
This product saves me so much time. Instead of waiting for natural oxidation, I can finish pieces in an afternoon. The natural ingredients give a subtle scent that isn't overpowering like chemical stains.

Safe and easy to use
As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciated that this was non-irritating. I didn't need heavy gloves, just washed my hands after. The finish looks incredibly authentic on my decorative bowls.

Truly natural finish
Love that this is plant-based. It feels good to use products that aren't full of harsh chemicals, especially when making items that might sit on a dinner table. The antique look is beautiful.
Q: How long does the color last once applied?
A: Once the aging process is complete and the item is dry, the color is permanent. For added durability and sheen, we recommend sealing the finished piece with a clear wax or natural oil.
Q: Is this safe to use around pets and children?
A: Yes, our formula is 100% natural and non-toxic. However, as with any craft powder, we advise keeping it out of reach to prevent accidental ingestion or inhalation of loose dust during application.
Q: Do I need to mix this with water before applying?
A: Yes, for best results, mix the powder with a small amount of warm water to create a paste or solution, depending on your desired intensity. Apply with a soft brush or cloth.
Q: Can this be used on painted gourds or only raw ones?
A: This powder is designed specifically for raw, unpainted organic surfaces to penetrate and react with the material. It will not adhere properly or create an antique effect on painted or sealed surfaces.
Q: Will this work on other types of nuts besides walnuts?
A: Absolutely! While optimized for walnuts and gourds, it works beautifully on other hard-shell nuts, acorns, and porous wooden crafts to achieve a similar vintage aesthetic.
