Easy DIY kit
I was worried about installing this myself but the dimensions are standard. The included thermal paste sample was a nice touch. My prints look much cleaner now with no oozing.

Perfect for ABS and PETG
Handles high temperatures without bending or warping. I switched from printing PLA to ABS and this heatbreak maintains the hot zone efficiently. No leaks or gaps after several weeks of use.

Good quality, tricky install
The part itself is high quality and feels sturdy. However, tightening it required some care to avoid cross-threading. Once installed, temperatures are very stable. Would recommend using fresh thermal paste.

Solved my heat creep issues
I was experiencing constant clogs with my stock heatbreak when printing PLA at higher speeds. This titanium-copper combo dissipates heat much better. Installation was straightforward and it fits the V6 clone perfectly.

Genuine feel
Fits my clone V6 perfectly. The machining quality is excellent with no burrs on the threads. It's a great DIY kit component for anyone looking to upgrade their hotend reliability.
Q: Is thermal paste required for installation?
A: While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend applying thermal paste between the heatbreak and the heater block for optimal thermal transfer.
Q: Does this work with E3D V6 clones or only genuine ones?
A: This heatbreak features standard M7 threading and is compatible with both genuine E3D V6 hotends and most high-quality clones.
Q: What is the inner bore diameter for the filament?
A: The inner bore is machined to accommodate standard 1.75mm filament smoothly without friction.
Q: How often should I replace the heatbreak?
A: With proper maintenance, it can last indefinitely. However, we suggest inspecting it every 6 months for signs of wear or thermal degradation.
Q: Can I use this with abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: This heatbreak is designed for temperature management. For abrasive filaments, please ensure you also use a hardened steel nozzle to prevent wear.
