Perfect replacement

Q: How difficult is the installation?
A: Moderate difficulty. It requires removing the hotend assembly and some disassembly of the print head cover.
Q: Is this compatible with the X1 Carbon?
A: No, this fan is specifically designed for the P1S and P1P models. The X1 Carbon uses a different hotend assembly.
Q: Is the tachometer wire necessary?
A: Yes, please connect all pins. The printer uses the tachometer signal to monitor fan speed and detect failures.
Q: Will this fix heat creep issues?
A: If the heat creep is caused by insufficient cooling on the heatbreak, yes. Please also check your thermal paste and temperatures.
