Good for soft soil, struggles with clay
It works wonderfully in my compost-rich garden beds. However, when I tried to break up some hard clay near the driveway, it was a bit too light-duty for that specific task. For normal gardening maintenance, it is perfect.

Excellent craftsmanship
The finish on the wood is smooth and splinter-free. The steel blade holds an edge well. I appreciate that it is made of stainless steel so I don't have to worry about rust if I leave it outside by accident. A solid tool.

Sturdy tool, slightly short for tall users
The build quality is excellent. The blade is sharp and the metal feels thick enough to last years. My only critique is that at 6'2", I have to bend over quite a bit to use it, but for a hand hoe, that is expected. Great for detailed weeding.

Great value for money
Compared to other hoes I've bought at big box stores, this one is far superior. The connection between the head and the handle is very secure. It hasn't loosened up after a month of heavy use in my raised beds.

Best gardening purchase this year
This little hoe is a powerhouse. I used it to clear weeds between my flower beds and it sliced right through the roots. The stainless steel cleans up instantly with just a rinse of water. Highly recommend for anyone with arthritis who needs a lightweight tool.
