Solid handheld for the price
Works great out of the box. The buttons have a nice tactile feel. I deducted one star because the included manual was a bit vague on advanced settings, but online forums helped quickly.

Excellent screen quality
The 720p resolution on a 7-inch display is stunning. Colors are vibrant and there is no lag when playing fast-paced arcade games. It feels premium despite the affordable price point.

Nostalgia overload!
As a student who grew up on arcade classics, this is a dream come true. The open-source nature means I can customize the interface exactly how I like. Highly recommend for any retro gaming fan.

Best Q960 model yet
I owned previous versions, and this 2026 model is a significant upgrade. The HDMI output works flawlessly with my modern TV, and the ergonomics are much improved for long gaming sessions.

Great value but battery could be better
The console plays everything I threw at it from NES to PSP smoothly. The build quality feels solid for the price. My only complaint is that heavy gaming drains the battery in about 4 hours, but that's manageable.

Perfect retro gift for my husband
Bought this for my husband's birthday and he absolutely loves it. The 7-inch screen is crisp and bright, making old GBA games look fantastic. Setting it up to connect to the TV was surprisingly easy.
Q: What is the maximum size of the SD card supported?
A: The Subor Q960 supports microSD cards up to 256GB. We recommend using Class 10 or UHS-I cards for the best performance when loading large game files.
Q: Can this console play original physical game cartridges?
A: No, the Subor Q960 is a digital emulation console. It plays ROM files loaded onto the internal storage or SD card, not physical cartridges.
Q: Does it come with pre-loaded games?
A: Yes, the device comes with a selection of public domain and homebrew games pre-installed. You can also easily add your own legally owned game backups via the SD card slot.
Q: Is the battery replaceable if it wears out?
A: The battery is internally integrated to maintain a slim profile. While it is technically possible to replace it with tools, we recommend contacting support for assistance to avoid voiding the warranty.
Q: How do I connect this to my television?
A: The package includes a mini-HDMI to standard HDMI cable. Simply plug one end into the console and the other into your TV's HDMI port, then switch the TV input source.
