Great upgrade from beginner model
I upgraded from a generic brand to this Dunhuang 694DQ and the difference is night and day. The responsiveness of the strings allows for much faster technique execution. Worth every penny.

Perfect for my daughter's exams
We bought this for our daughter who is preparing for her grade 8 examination. The tone is incredibly clear and resonant. The 'Double Cranes' artwork is stunning in person. Highly recommended for serious students.

Authentic Dunhuang quality
As a long-time player, I can confirm this is an authentic Dunhuang instrument. The 694DQ model offers excellent projection and sustain. The setup out of the box was perfect, requiring minimal tuning stabilization.

Solid performance instrument
Used this for a recent recital and it performed beautifully under stage lights. The tuning stability held up well throughout the concert. Just ensure you let it acclimate to the room temperature before playing.

Beautiful instrument, heavy case
The guzheng itself is flawless with a rich, warm sound. The only minor downside is that the complete standard set case is quite heavy to carry around, but that speaks to the protective quality of the packaging.
