Beautiful aesthetic and good sound

The carved design on the soundboard is stunning. It sounds warm and mellow. I deducted one star only because the carrying case could be slightly more padded, but the instrument itself is flawless.

Perfect for travel and practice

Great craftsmanship, minor tuning drift

The wood quality is excellent and the handmade details are beautiful. It arrived mostly in tune, though I had to adjust a few strings after the first day as they settled. Overall, a fantastic portable instrument.

Q: Can I change the tuning to different scales easily?

A: Absolutely. Since it uses standard movable bridges, you can easily retune the instrument to different pentatonic scales or other tunings by moving the bridges, just like a full-sized guzheng.

Q: What is the exact width of the instrument?

A: The width at the widest point is approximately 16 cm, making it very slim and easy to store on a desk or shelf when not in use.

Q: Are replacement strings available if one breaks?

A: Yes, standard guzheng strings fit this model. We sell replacement string sets separately, and any music store carrying guzheng accessories will also have compatible strings.

Q: Is the wood treated to prevent cracking in dry climates?

A: Yes, the solid paulownia wood is seasoned and treated with a protective lacquer finish to help maintain stability in varying humidity levels, though we still recommend using a humidifier in extremely dry environments.

Q: Does this come with a hard case or a soft bag?

A: This model comes with a high-quality padded soft case designed specifically for the 1m mini guzheng to ensure safe transport while keeping it lightweight.
