Great product, small learning curve
The adhesive quality is excellent and holds very well against humidity changes. It took me two tries to get the application amount right, as too much can dull the sound slightly. Once mastered, it is a fantastic maintenance tool.

Perfect for extending string life

Good value for money
A little goes a long way. One jar has lasted me six months of regular maintenance. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cap can be a bit tight to open sometimes, but the product inside is top-notch.

Saved my expensive strings
My high-end silk strings started unraveling after just a month. Applied this solution carefully, let it dry overnight, and they are good as new. The bond is strong yet flexible enough for bending notes.

A: We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes for the surface to dry, but for optimal bonding strength, please allow 2 to 3 hours before tuning and playing the instrument.
Q: What is the best way to store the remaining glue?
A: Please ensure the lid is tightly sealed and store the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid freezing temperatures to maintain the consistency of the Bletilla and fish blend.
Q: Can this glue be used on nylon-core silk strings?
A: Yes, this adhesive is formulated to work effectively on both traditional twisted silk strings and modern nylon-core silk strings commonly used on Guqins.
Q: Does the glue change the pitch or timbre of the string?
A: When applied correctly in thin layers, the glue adds negligible mass and does not alter the pitch or timbre. Its purpose is to bind fraying fibers without dampening vibration.
