Good quality but requires patience

The shells are well-made and look fantastic once assembled. Just be careful when transferring the internal components; the screw holes align perfectly, but you need a steady hand. Took me about 20 minutes.

Better than expected

Saved my favorite controller

My old controller shell was cracked and yellowed. This replacement brought it back to life. The button responsiveness is unchanged since it uses your original internals. Great product.

Decent but slightly brittle

The shell looks good, but the plastic felt a little more brittle than the original when I was snapping it together. I didn't break anything, but I had to be extra gentle. Works fine now though.

Great value for money

For the price, you can't beat this. It's not 100% identical to the Nintendo factory shell if you look extremely closely at the mold lines, but once assembled, nobody will notice. Very happy with the purchase.

Perfect fit for my restoration project

The shell fits perfectly on my original NGC controller. The plastic quality feels very close to the OEM parts, and the matte finish gives it a great grip. Highly recommended for anyone fixing up old controllers.

A: No, this package only includes the upper and lower plastic housing shells and the necessary screws. You will need to transfer your existing buttons, rubber pads, and internal electronics from your old controller.

Q: Is the plastic glossy or matte?

A: The finish depends on the color selected. The Indigo, Black, and Silver options feature a matte textured finish similar to the original, while the Clear editions have a glossy transparent look.

Q: Will this fit the third-party GameCube controllers?

A: This shell is designed specifically for the official Nintendo GameCube controller layout. It may not fit third-party controllers correctly as their internal dimensions and screw post locations often differ.

Q: What size screwdriver do I need for assembly?

A: You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver, typically size #0 or #00, to open your original controller and secure the new shell.
