Solid mid-range bass flute
Good value for the price point. The tone is warm, though it took a few days of playing to break in the pads. The offset G key makes hand positioning very comfortable.

Exceptional depth and resonance
The VA60 bass flute produces a incredibly rich, dark tone that cuts through the ensemble perfectly. The white finish is stunning and the key action is smooth right out of the box.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The white lacquer finish looks elegant under stage lights. The mechanism feels solid and requires very little effort to play. It arrived well-packaged and ready to play.

Great instrument, heavy case
Love the sound quality and intonation on this Unuo flute. My only minor complaint is that the hard case is quite bulky to carry to rehearsals, but it offers excellent protection.

Perfect for professional ensembles
We purchased two of these for our wind symphony. The C tuning is precise and the response in the lower register is immediate. Highly recommended for serious players.
Q: Is the white finish prone to scratching easily?
A: The white lacquer is durable, but like any finished instrument, it should be handled with care. We recommend wiping it down with a microfiber cloth after every use to maintain its appearance.
Q: Can this instrument be adjusted for different pitch standards like A=442Hz?
A: The flute is manufactured for A=440Hz standard. While minor adjustments can be made by a certified technician via the crown cork, it is not designed for significant pitch standard changes by the user.
Q: What is the warranty period for the keys and body?
A: Unuo provides a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for both the brass body and the key mechanism.
Q: Is the headjoint curved or straight?
A: This model features a curved headjoint design to make the embouchure hole more accessible given the larger size of the bass flute tubing.
