High quality hardware
Very impressed with the build quality. The matte black coating seems durable and scratch-resistant. It holds the heavy glass door securely and closes it gently every time.

Smooth operation

Sleek and functional

Perfect solution for retrofitting
I needed a floor spring for an existing glass door without breaking up the concrete floor. This no-dig model was exactly what I needed. The black finish looks sleek and professional. Installation took about 45 minutes.

Great look, minor adjustment needed
The hinge is very sturdy and the concealed design is beautiful. It took a little trial and error to get the closing speed just right, but once adjusted, it works perfectly. Would recommend having a second person help with alignment.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. Easy to install if you follow the template provided. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the screws provided were slightly shorter than I expected, so I used my own.

A: Yes, this surface-mounted design is specifically engineered for retrofitting existing doors without the need to remove the glass or cut into the floor.
Q: Is the closing speed adjustable?
A: Absolutely. There are two adjustment valves on the unit that allow you to independently control the main closing speed and the final latching speed.
Q: Does the black finish rust if used in a humid bathroom environment?
A: The finish is a corrosion-resistant powder coat applied over zinc alloy and stainless steel components, making it suitable for high-humidity indoor environments like bathrooms.
Q: What is the maximum thickness of the glass door this supports?
A: This model is designed to accommodate frameless glass doors with a thickness ranging from 8mm to 12mm (5/16" to 1/2").
Q: Can this hold the door open at 90 degrees or does it always close?
A: This is a self-closing mechanism. It will automatically close the door from any open position up to 90 degrees. It does not have a hold-open function.
