Standard industry tool
Nothing fancy, just a reliable tool that does the job. The color contrast makes it easy to see if the surface is wetted properly.

Good value for money
Works well for quick checks on the production line. I wish the caps were a bit tighter to prevent drying out, but overall a solid product.
Q: Is the ink toxic or hazardous?
A: The ink contains formamide and other solvents. It should be used in a well-ventilated area. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) included with the product for detailed handling instructions.
Q: Can these pens be used on metal surfaces?
A: These pens are specifically designed for non-porous polymer films and coated materials. They are not intended for use on bare metal surfaces as the results may not be accurate.
Q: What is the shelf life of these test pens once opened?
A: Once opened, the pens typically last for several months if the cap is secured tightly immediately after each use. However, we recommend using them within 6 months of opening for optimal accuracy.
Q: How do I know which dyne level pen to use for my specific plastic film?
A: You should select a pen with a dyne level slightly higher than your target specification. If the ink beads up, the surface tension is lower than the pen's rating. If it spreads evenly, the surface tension is equal to or higher than the rating.
Q: Do you offer a kit with all the dyne levels included?
A: Currently, the pens are sold individually or in custom sets based on the specific levels you select (e.g., 30, 34, 38, 42). Please contact our sales team to arrange a custom bundle.
