Great value but stiff at first
The quality is outstanding for the price point. The rod felt a bit stiff out of the box but loosened up after a few trips on the water. The reel drag is very smooth.

Perfect combo for bass fishing
This set is incredibly well-balanced. The Caius reel casts smoothly and the rod has just the right amount of backbone for hooking big bass. Highly recommended for intermediate anglers.

Solid mid-range option
Very happy with this purchase. It feels premium in hand. The only minor issue is that the line guide could be slightly larger for braided lines, but it works fine with mono.
