Comfortable and responsive
Very comfortable for all-day wear. The reaction time is instant. Only giving 4 stars because the instruction manual was a bit vague on sensitivity settings, but figured it out quickly.

Best upgrade I've made
Switched from an old passive lens helmet. The difference in eye strain is incredible. The grind mode is very convenient for switching tasks without taking the helmet off.

Great value, minor adjustment needed
Excellent clarity and the solar power works well even in my dimly lit shop thanks to the battery backup. Had to tighten the headgear ratchet a bit more than expected, but once set, it stays put.

Exceeded expectations
For the price, you cannot beat this helmet. The optical clarity is class 1, and the solar charging means I never worry about batteries dying mid-job. A must-have for TIG welders.

Perfect for long TIG sessions
The lightweight design is a game changer. I used to get neck pain after an hour of welding, but this cap-style helmet feels like I'm wearing nothing. The auto-darkening is crisp and clear.

Solid build quality
Dropped it twice on concrete already and no cracks. The viewing area is wide enough for precision TIG work. Highly recommend for anyone doing fine detail welding.
Q: Does it come with a carrying case?
A: This model does not include a hard carrying case, but it does come with a protective cloth bag to keep the lens scratch-free during transport.
Q: What is the warranty period for the electronic lens?
A: The auto-darkening filter comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The shell has a limited lifetime warranty.
Q: Is there a delay when switching from grind mode to weld mode?
A: No, the switch is instantaneous. However, please ensure you are not looking directly at an active arc when switching modes as a general safety precaution.
Q: Does this helmet work well for low amp TIG welding below 5 amps?
A: Yes, the sensitivity is adjustable, allowing it to detect low-amperage arcs typically used in precision TIG welding. We recommend setting the sensitivity to high for best results.
Q: Can the headgear be replaced if it gets damaged?
A: Absolutely. The headgear uses a standard mounting system compatible with most replacement straps and ratchets available at welding supply stores.
