Exactly as described
Non-infrared feature is great for avoiding interference from other sensors. Direct digital output makes interfacing with MCU very simple.

Decent module
Documentation was a bit sparse, had to test pins manually to map the channels. Sensor itself works fine once you figure out the pinout.

Great value
Fast response time compared to standard IR sensors. Successfully used it for a black line on white background and vice versa. Highly recommend for DIY.

Good sensitivity
Works well but needs precise height adjustment from the ground. Once calibrated, it tracks colored lines accurately. Good value for the price.

Perfect for RoboContest
Used this for our university line follower robot. The 8 channels provide excellent resolution for smooth turns. No infrared interference was a huge plus in the arena.
