Smooth feel under fingers
The winding is very smooth which makes fast solos much easier. No rough spots or burrs on any of the strings in the pack. Highly recommend for lead guitarists.

Solid upgrade from standard nickel
Noticeable improvement in sustain and clarity compared to regular nickel strings. They take a little longer to stretch in initially, but once settled, they are rock solid.

No more breaking strings!
I used to break strings constantly during aggressive bending. Since switching to D'Addario NYXL, I haven't had a single break in six months. The durability claim is real.

Great tone, slightly pricey
The sound quality is outstanding with a very clear high end. They last longer than my previous brand, though they are a bit more expensive. Worth it for gigging musicians.

Perfect for studio work
The consistency between sets is amazing. Every string sounds balanced and intonates perfectly right out of the package. My go-to choice for recording sessions.

Best strings I've ever used
These NYXL strings hold their tune incredibly well. I play heavy rock and the 10-52 gauge gives me the tension I need without feeling too stiff. The brightness is perfect for cutting through the mix.
Q: Can I use these on a guitar with a floating tremolo system?
A: Absolutely. However, because the tension profile may differ slightly from your current strings, you may need to adjust the spring tension in the back of the guitar to balance the bridge.
Q: What is the difference between the 10-46 and 10-52 gauges?
A: The main difference is in the low E, A, and D strings. The 10-52 set has heavier bottom strings (52, 42, 32) compared to the 10-46 set (46, 36, 26), providing more tension for lower tunings.
Q: Do these strings come with a warranty?
A: D'Addario offers a replacement guarantee if a string breaks due to a manufacturing defect within 30 days of purchase. Please keep your receipt.
Q: Are these strings compatible with a Stratocaster?
A: Yes, these strings are designed for standard scale length electric guitars like the Fender Stratocaster and will fit perfectly.
Q: How long do these strings typically last before needing replacement?
A: Lifespan varies by playing style and environment, but many users report 2 to 3 times the longevity of standard uncoated strings due to the high carbon steel core.
