Smooth action and great sustain
These strings reduced finger noise significantly compared to my old set. The sustain on the lower strings is fantastic, adding a nice depth to chord progressions. Will definitely be buying these again.

Perfect for studio work
Used these for a recording session last weekend. The consistency across all six strings is impressive. No dead spots, and the intonation held perfectly throughout a four-hour tracking session. Highly recommended for professionals.

Incredible longevity and tone
I've been playing gigging rock for ten years, and these Stone Fish M1 strings are a game changer. The PVD coating really works; I'm three weeks in and they still sound fresh without any corrosion. The high E string is crisp without being brittle.

Solid upgrade from standard sets
Switched from uncoated strings to these for my Stratocaster. The brightness is retained much longer than expected. Only giving 4 stars because the packaging was slightly crumpled upon arrival, though the strings themselves were fine.

Great feel, slightly pricey
The playability is smooth right out of the package. Bending feels effortless on the nickel-plated surface. They are a bit more expensive than my usual brand, but the extended life seems to justify the cost so far.

Best coated strings I've tried
I usually avoid coated strings because they feel slippery, but the Stone Fish M1s have a natural feel. The coating is invisible to the touch but clearly protects against sweat. My hands are quite acidic, and these lasted a month easily.
Q: Does the PVD coating affect the magnetic pickup response?
A: No, the PVD coating is extremely thin and non-magnetic, ensuring full signal transfer to your pickups without any loss in output or tonal clarity.
Q: How long do these strings typically last under heavy touring conditions?
A: While results vary based on playing style and body chemistry, most touring musicians report 3 to 5 weeks of optimal performance before needing a change, which is roughly double that of uncoated strings.
Q: Are these strings compatible with floating tremolo systems?
A: Yes, the Stone Fish M1 set uses standard ball ends that are fully compatible with floating tremolo bridges like those found on Fender Stratocasters or Ibanez guitars.
Q: What is the exact gauge breakdown for this light set?
A: The Light gauge set includes: .009, .011, .016, .024, .032, and .042 inches.
Q: Can I buy just the high E string if it breaks?
A: Currently, Stone Fish M1 strings are only sold as complete 6-string sets to ensure tonal consistency across the neck. Individual strings are not available for purchase separately.
