Perfect balance of brightness and durability
I've been using the 10-46 set for my Stratocaster for months now. The high carbon steel core keeps them in tune incredibly well, even after aggressive bending. The nickel plating gives a classic rock tone without being too harsh on the fingers.

Solid choice for standard tuning
Very happy with the tone clarity. They handle drop D tuning well, though I wouldn't recommend going lower than that with the lighter gauges. The packaging kept them fresh until I opened them.

Smooth feel and great intonation
The nickel plating makes these strings feel very smooth under the fingers, which helps with sliding techniques. Intonation was spot-on immediately after installation. No dead spots on the fretboard.

Great value for gigging musicians
These strings last much longer than other brands I've tried in this price range. I play three nights a week and usually get about 3 weeks out of a set before they lose their sparkle. The 09-42 gauge is perfect for fast soloing.

Best strings for the price point
I was skeptical about switching from my usual brand, but the GS-6 series won me over. The sustain is impressive, and they resist rust even in my humid practice room. Will definitely buy again.

Consistent quality across all gauges
I switch between the 09-46 and 10-46 depending on the guitar. Both sets feel consistent in tension and tone. The ball ends seat perfectly in my Les Paul bridge. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable strings.
Q: Can I use these on a 7-string electric guitar?
A: No, the GS-6 Series is designed specifically for 6-string electric guitars. A 7-string guitar requires a different set with an additional low B string.
Q: Do these strings come with a cleaning cloth?
A: No, the package contains only the six strings sealed in a foil envelope. We recommend using a separate microfiber cloth to wipe down the strings after playing to extend their lifespan.
Q: Are these strings suitable for guitars with a floating tremolo system?
A: Yes, the GS-6 series works well with floating tremolo systems like the Floyd Rose. However, due to the high carbon steel core, we recommend stretching them thoroughly during installation to ensure stable tuning.
Q: How long is the warranty on these strings?
A: ESP guarantees the product against manufacturing defects upon arrival. Since strings are consumable items subject to wear and player chemistry, there is no long-term warranty once the package is opened and installed.
Q: What is the difference between the 09-42 and 09-46 sets?
A: Both sets start with an .009 high E string, but the 09-46 set has heavier low strings (A, D, E) compared to the 09-42 set. The 09-46 offers a fuller bottom end and slightly higher tension, while the 09-42 is easier to bend.
