Good for bass too
Bought the 19002 set for my Fender Jazz Bass. They hold their tuning well and have a nice punchy low end. Took one star off because they took a day to stretch out fully.

Never going back to uncoated
I used to change strings every two weeks. With Elixirs, I change them every three months. Saves money and time in the long run.

Consistent tone across all strings
No dead spots on the G or B strings like I often get with other brands. The balance across the set is excellent for recording.

Smooth feel for fast playing
The coating makes sliding up and down the neck incredibly smooth. Perfect for fusion and jazz styles where speed is essential.

Best strings I've ever used
These Elixir strings last forever and keep their brightness for months. The NANOWEB coating feels smooth under my fingers without affecting the tone.

Great longevity, slightly pricey
I play gigs every weekend and these strings still sound fresh after two months. They are more expensive than standard strings, but worth it for the durability.
Q: Do the 12052 strings come in a 7-string set?
A: The 12052 model is specifically for 6-string electric guitars. We do carry 7-string sets under a different model number; please check our catalog for 'Elixir 7-String'.
Q: Can I use the 12002 medium gauge on a guitar with a floating bridge?
A: Yes, but you may need to adjust your spring tension and intonation when switching gauges to maintain proper bridge balance and tuning stability.
Q: Are these strings compatible with Floyd Rose tremolo systems?
A: Yes, Elixir strings work perfectly with Floyd Rose and other locking tremolo systems. Just ensure you select the correct gauge for your setup.
Q: What is the difference between NANOWEB and POLYWEB coatings?
A: NANOWEB offers an ultra-thin coating that feels very close to uncoated strings with a bright tone. POLYWEB has a slightly thicker coating for a warmer, smoother feel and even longer life.
Q: How long does shipping usually take for this item?
A: Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the US. Express options are available at checkout for faster delivery.
