Perfect for my 9-string build
Finding high-quality strings for a 9-string electric guitar is usually a nightmare, but this Alice set fits perfectly. The gold coating looks premium and the tuning stability is excellent right out of the box.

Smooth playability
The gold coating makes bending strings incredibly smooth. No finger squeak compared to my old uncoated sets. Highly recommend for anyone playing extended range guitars.

Consistent quality
I buy these in bulk for my studio guitars. Every set has been consistent in gauge and tone. The gold finish also adds a nice aesthetic touch to the headstock.

Best value for money
These strings punch way above their price point. The tone is warm yet clear, and the full 9-string set saves me from having to buy individual strings to complete my setup.

Good but packaging was damaged
The strings themselves are great quality and sound good on my Ibanez. However, the envelope arrived slightly torn, which made me worry about freshness. Fortunately, the strings were fine.

Great tone, long lasting
I've been using these for about three weeks now and they still sound bright. The anti-rust claim seems to hold up even with my sweaty hands. Only giving 4 stars because the highest string felt a bit stiff initially.
Q: Are these strings compatible with standard scale length guitars?
A: Yes, the Alice AWR59J set is designed to fit standard scale length electric guitars (24.75" to 25.5") configured for 9 strings.
Q: How long does the anti-rust protection last?
A: While lifespan depends on playing habits and environment, the anti-rust technology generally extends string life by 3 to 4 times compared to uncoated strings under normal conditions.
Q: Can I use these on a bass guitar?
A: No, these are specifically wound and gauged for electric guitars. Using them on a bass guitar would result in insufficient tension and poor tone.
Q: What is the exact gauge of the lowest string in this set?
A: In this 9-9 set configuration, the lowest string (the 9th string) typically has a gauge of .074, providing a tight low end without being too floppy.
Q: Does the gold coating affect the magnetic pickup output?
A: No, the gold coating is extremely thin and non-magnetic, so it does not interfere with the magnetic field of your pickups or alter the output signal.
