Great value, minor pin labeling issues
The core functionality is solid and the price is unbeatable. I did have to double-check the silkscreen labels against the datasheet for a few pins, but once configured, it works flawlessly.

Easy to start with
I was worried about the learning curve, but the community support for STC chips is huge. This board boots up instantly and the LED blink test worked on the first try.

Perfect for learning 8051 architecture

Solid replacement for older 8051 kits
Much faster than the classic AT89S52 boards I used to use. The internal oscillator saves space on the PCB. Would give 5 stars if it came with a USB-to-TTL cable included.

Excellent for university projects
