Tiny powerhouse

Good learning tool

As a student learning about RISC-V, this board is affordable and functional. The 128MB RAM is limiting for heavy multitasking but perfectly fine for dedicated single-application tasks like sensor logging or simple AI inference.

Great value, minor docs gaps

Hardware quality is excellent for the price point. Wi-Fi connectivity is stable. I deducted one star because some advanced GPIO examples in the wiki are a bit sparse, but the community forum helped fill the gaps.

Smooth Linux experience

Boots up quickly into Buildroot. The device tree configuration is well-maintained. I appreciate that Waveshare provides pre-built images so you can start coding immediately without compiling everything from scratch.

Q: Can I connect a standard Raspberry Pi camera module?
