Superior to standard ESP32 modules
The additional PSRAM and faster flash make this significantly better than older generations. I used it for a smart display project, and the refresh rates are impressive.

Solid performance for robotics control
Using this as the brain for a small rover. The Wi-Fi range is decent, and the GPIO pins are sufficient for motor drivers and sensors. Would give 5 stars if it included a case.

Great value but needs careful handling
Excellent hardware specs for the price. The pin layout is compact, so you need to be careful when soldering headers if you aren't using the pre-soldered version. Works great with MicroPython.

Reliable for home automation hubs
Replaced my old controller with this one. The stability is outstanding, and it hasn't disconnected once in three weeks of continuous operation. Highly recommended for Home Assistant integrations.
Q: What operating systems are supported for development?
A: You can develop on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The board is compatible with popular IDEs like VS Code with PlatformIO, Arduino IDE, and the official ESP-IDF framework.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the GPIO pins?
A: While technically possible via the 5V pin, we strongly recommend using the USB-C port for stable power delivery to prevent potential damage to the board.
Q: Does it come with pre-soldered pin headers?
A: This specific SKU usually comes without pre-soldered headers to allow for flexible mounting options, but a version with headers is available separately.
Q: Is the 8MB PSRAM expandable or fixed?
A: The 8MB PSRAM is integrated into the module and is not expandable. However, it is sufficient for most high-performance embedded applications.
Q: Does this board support external antennas for better Wi-Fi range?
A: Yes, the Core2350B features an IPEX connector that allows you to attach an external antenna for improved wireless signal strength.
