Excellent learning tool for embedded systems

Great value but documentation could be better
Hardware quality is solid and the relay outputs handle the load well. I deducted one star because the pinout diagram in the manual was slightly unclear, but the community forums helped me sort it out.

High quality components
You can tell the capacitors and connectors are high grade. The PCB layout is clean with good separation between high voltage and logic sections. Highly recommended for serious developers.

Robust industrial performance

Perfect for custom PLC projects

Reliable replacement for legacy modules
We used these to replace some aging proprietary modules in our conveyor system. They fit well and the programming interface is standard. Shipping took a bit longer than expected.
Q: Does this board come with pre-installed firmware or is it blank?
A: The board ships with a basic bootloader and a demo program to test IO functionality. You will need to flash your own application code for specific tasks using an ST-Link debugger.
Q: Can the relay outputs switch 220V AC loads?
A: Yes, the relay outputs are rated for up to 250V AC at 5A. Please ensure you follow all local safety regulations when wiring high-voltage circuits.
Q: Does this support Ethernet TCP/IP MODBUS as well?
A: This specific model focuses on MODBUS RTU over RS485. While it has an Ethernet port, it is currently reserved for future firmware updates and does not support MODBUS TCP out of the box.
Q: What is the maximum baud rate supported for MODBUS RTU?
A: The hardware supports baud rates up to 115200 bps, though 9600 and 19200 are most commonly used for stability in long-distance industrial cabling.
Q: Is there a library available for Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, we provide a compatible library package for the Arduino IDE that simplifies reading DI states and controlling DO relays. It can be downloaded from our GitHub repository linked in the product manual.
