Solid performance, minimal docs
The hardware quality is good and the chip runs stable at 72MHz. However, the included documentation is very sparse. You will need to look up pinouts and schematics online, which is easy enough to find.

Reliable and compact
I have bought five of these boards for a university project. All of them worked out of the box. The form factor is small enough to fit into tight enclosures. Flashing via ST-Link is fast and reliable.

Great for robotics projects
Used this for a small line-following robot. The PWM outputs work perfectly for motor control, and the ADC resolution is sufficient for my sensors. Highly recommended for embedded projects.

Good board but needs external programmer
The board itself is excellent, but remember it does not have an onboard USB-to-serial converter or debugger. You must buy a separate ST-Link V2 or similar programmer to upload code.

Perfect for beginners and prototyping
This board is exactly what I needed to start learning ARM Cortex-M3 programming. It works flawlessly with the STM32CubeIDE and supports Arduino IDE via STM32duino. Great value for the price.

Best budget STM32 board
Unbeatable price point for a genuine STM32F103C8T6. I've pushed it with various libraries and it handles everything from simple blinking LEDs to complex I2C communication without issues.

A: Yes, there is typically one built-in LED connected to pin PC13 that you can use for basic status indication or testing your first 'blink' program.
Q: Does this board come with an onboard USB programmer?
A: No, this is a minimum system board and does not include an onboard USB-to-serial or SWD programmer. You will need an external ST-Link V2 or J-Link debugger to program the chip.
Q: Can I program this using the Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, you can program this board using the Arduino IDE by installing the STM32duino board package. You will still need an ST-Link programmer to upload the sketches.
