Reliable and compact
Used this in a small drone controller project. The size is perfect for tight spaces, and the power consumption is low. Flashing firmware via SWD is fast and reliable. No issues after weeks of continuous operation.

Perfect for learning ARM architecture

Good board but steep learning curve
The hardware itself seems fine, but if you are coming from standard Arduino boards, the setup process is a bit confusing. Make sure you have a proper ST-Link debugger before buying. Once set up, it works well.

Solid hardware, minor documentation gaps
The build quality is excellent and the chip runs stable at 72MHz. However, the included PDF manual was a bit sparse. I had to refer to the official ST datasheet for some specific register details. Still, highly recommended for prototyping.

A: No, this core board does not have an onboard programmer. You will need an external ST-Link V2 or J-Link debugger to flash code onto the microcontroller.
Q: What is the maximum input voltage for the VIN pin?
A: The onboard regulator supports an input voltage range typically between 3.6V and 12V on the VIN pin, though we recommend staying below 9V for optimal thermal performance. The logic level is 3.3V.
Q: Does it support MicroPython?
A: Yes, the STM32F103C8T6 has sufficient flash and RAM to run MicroPython. You will need to flash the appropriate .bin firmware file for the specific board configuration using an ST-Link programmer.
