Excellent starter kit
Fast shipping and the board arrived well-packaged. The soldering joints are clean, and the components are securely mounted. I successfully uploaded my first hex file within minutes.

Perfect for beginners learning 8051
This board is exactly what I needed to start my journey with the 8051 architecture. The pinout is clearly labeled, and it worked straight out of the box with the provided software examples.

Reliable minimum system board
We bought ten of these for our workshop. They are robust and handle frequent plugging and unplugging well. The reset button and LED indicators are very helpful for debugging.

Good classroom tool
I use these in my introductory embedded systems class. Students find them easy to interface with. The only downside is that the USB cable included is a bit short.

Nostalgic and functional
Brings me back to my college days. The STC89C52 is a classic chip, and this board makes it easy to use without building a circuit from scratch. Highly recommended for legacy system maintenance.

Great value but documentation could be better
The hardware quality is solid for the price. I had a minor issue finding the specific driver for my OS, but once installed, programming was smooth. Good for university projects.
Q: Does this board come with a USB cable?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard USB cable for power and data transfer.
Q: What type of programmer is required?
A: This board supports In-System Programming (ISP) via the onboard USB-to-TTL converter, so no external programmer is needed.
Q: Are there expansion headers for connecting sensors?
A: Yes, all I/O ports are broken out into standard 2.54mm pitch headers, making it easy to connect sensors, LCDs, and other modules.
Q: Can I power this board via the VIN pin instead of USB?
A: Yes, you can supply 5V DC directly to the VIN pin, but please ensure the voltage does not exceed 5.5V to avoid damaging the MCU.
Q: Is this compatible with Keil uVision software?
A: Absolutely. The STC89C52 is fully supported by Keil uVision for C and Assembly language development.
