Good quality but manual could be better
The hardware quality is solid and all LEDs and buttons work as expected. However, the included documentation is a bit sparse. You will need to look up datasheets online for detailed register info.

Great starter kit
Everything arrived in good condition. The example code provided on the seller's site helped me get my first LED blinking within an hour. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Solid base for custom projects
Used this as a base for a home automation controller. The expansion headers make it easy to connect sensors. Only wish it had a built-in voltage regulator for 9V input, but that's a minor issue.

Perfect for beginners learning 8051
This board is exactly what I needed to start my journey with the 8051 architecture. The pinout is clearly labeled, and it works seamlessly with standard IDEs. Great value for the price.

Excellent for classroom use
I bought ten of these for my embedded systems class. They are durable enough to handle student use and program quickly via the USB interface. Highly recommended for educational purposes.
Q: What type of crystal oscillator is installed?
A: The board comes pre-installed with an 11.0592MHz crystal oscillator, which is ideal for accurate serial communication baud rates.
Q: Is this compatible with Keil uVision software?
A: Absolutely. The STC89C52 is fully supported by Keil uVision. You can compile your C or Assembly code and download it directly to the board.
Q: Does this board come with a USB cable for programming?
A: Yes, the kit includes a standard USB cable compatible with the onboard USB-to-TTL converter for easy programming and power supply.
Q: Can I power this board with a 9V battery?
A: The board operates at 5V. While there is a power input header, please ensure you provide a regulated 5V source. Connecting a 9V battery directly without a regulator may damage the microcontroller.
Q: Are there example projects available for download?
A: Yes, Puzhong Technology provides a link to a repository containing example codes for GPIO, timers, interrupts, and UART communication in the product description.
