Great for motor control applications
Using this for a real-time motor control project. The combination of the ARM processor for high-level logic and the FPGA for precise PWM generation works flawlessly. Shipping was fast too.

Solid hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is excellent and all ports function as expected. However, if you are new to Vivado and SDK, be prepared for a significant learning curve. Not a beginner plug-and-play toy, but a serious dev tool.

Perfect for embedded Linux projects
This board boots Petalinux and Ubuntu without issues. The documentation provided on the seller's site was helpful for getting the device tree configured. Great value for the price compared to other Zynq boards.

Reliable for prototyping industrial comms
We used this to prototype a custom EtherCAT slave implementation. The stability over a 48-hour stress test was impressive. Highly recommended for industrial communication R&D.

Good for university labs
Bought this for my senior design project. It handles complex signal processing tasks well. The only downside is that the included cable was a bit short, but that's a minor issue.

Works well but docs could be better
The board itself is fine and the chip is genuine. However, the schematic diagram provided was slightly hard to read in some sections. Once I figured out the pin mapping, everything worked great.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed operating system on the SD card?
A: No, the board is shipped with an empty MicroSD card slot. You will need to download the OS image (such as PetaLinux or Ubuntu) from the manufacturer's website and flash it yourself.
Q: What version of Vivado is recommended for this board?
A: We recommend using Xilinx Vivado 2018.3 or later versions up to 2023.x. The board files and constraints are compatible with these versions. Please check our wiki for the specific board file download link.
Q: Does the HDMI port support audio output?
A: Yes, the HDMI interface supports both video and audio output when configured correctly in your device tree and application software. It supports standard resolutions up to 1080p.
