Good starter kit
The core board is reliable. My only complaint is that the USB cable included felt a bit flimsy, so I replaced it immediately. Otherwise, the performance matches the specifications perfectly.

Great value but needs better docs
The hardware quality is solid for the price. However, the example code for the ADC module was a bit sparse. I had to look up additional resources online to get the sampling rate I needed.

Robust build quality
I've used this board in several electronic competitions now. It handles high-speed switching well and hasn't shown any signs of wear despite frequent reprogramming and connection changes.
Q: What is the maximum sampling rate for the onboard ADC?
A: The onboard ADC supports a maximum sampling rate of 1 MSPS (Mega Samples Per Second). Actual achievable rates may vary slightly depending on your specific Verilog/VHDL implementation and clock constraints.
Q: Is this board compatible with Windows 11 and the latest Quartus Prime version?
A: Yes, this board is fully compatible with Windows 10 and 11. It works with Quartus Prime Lite Edition version 20.1 and newer. Drivers for the USB-Blaster programmer are included in the software installation.
Q: Are there schematic diagrams available for custom peripheral expansion?
A: Yes, detailed PDF schematics and a pin assignment file are available for download in the 'Documentation' section of the product page. These files show all connector pinouts and internal routing.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a laptop USB port?
A: Yes, the board can be powered via the mini-USB port connected to a standard computer USB port, which provides sufficient 5V power for basic operations. For projects driving many external loads, we recommend using the dedicated 5V DC jack.
Q: Does the package include the JTAG downloader cable?
A: Yes, a USB-Blaster compatible JTAG downloader cable is included in the box, so you can start programming the FPGA immediately upon receipt without purchasing extra accessories.
