Perfect for IoT Prototyping
This board works flawlessly right out of the box. The dual-core performance handles my sensor data logging and Wi-Fi transmission without any lag. Great value for the price.

Solid hardware, minor pin labeling issue
The chip itself is powerful and the Bluetooth connectivity is stable. However, the silk screen labeling on a couple of the GPIO pins was slightly hard to read. Otherwise, excellent for learning embedded systems.

Easy to start with
As someone new to microcontrollers, I found the community support for this specific board layout overwhelming in a good way. Tutorials everywhere work exactly as described.

Great for student projects
Bought ten of these for our university robotics club. They all worked perfectly for our line-following robots with camera modules. The power management is efficient too.

Best ESP32 board I've used
I have tried several brands, but this one has the most stable USB-to-serial driver installation on Windows 11. Uploading code via Arduino IDE was instant. Highly recommended for beginners.

Good range, runs a bit warm
Using this for a smart home thermostat project. The Wi-Fi range is impressive through walls. It does get slightly warm when both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are active continuously, but nothing concerning.
Q: Is this compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can easily install the ESP32 board manager URL in Arduino IDE preferences and start coding immediately.
Q: Does it support Over-The-Air (OTA) updates?
A: Yes, the ESP32 chip fully supports OTA updates, allowing you to upload new firmware wirelessly over Wi-Fi.
Q: Does this board come with a USB cable included?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard Micro-USB cable for programming and power supply.
Q: Can I power this board with a 9V battery?
A: Yes, you can connect a 9V battery to the VIN and GND pins. The onboard voltage regulator will step it down to the required 3.3V for the chip.
Q: What is the maximum current output for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard regulator can typically supply up to 600mA, but we recommend drawing no more than 500mA from the 3.3V pin to ensure stability.
