Great board, steep learning curve for beginners
Hardware quality is top-notch as expected from DFRobot. However, if you are new to the P4 architecture, be prepared to dig into the documentation. Once set up, performance is excellent.

Best value for edge AI
I replaced my older setup with this board. The dual-core speed handles image processing tasks much better than previous generations. The Gravity connectors save so much wiring time.

Solid build quality
Received it quickly and the PCB finish is beautiful. The USB-C port feels durable. I'm using it for a smart home control panel and the touch response via the screen is very responsive.

Good for university projects
Using this for my final year project involving object detection. The microphone array is a nice bonus feature. Only wish the included cable was a bit longer.

Exceeded expectations
The memory configuration allows for complex logic without running out of RAM. Compiling code is fast, and the board stays cool even under heavy load. Highly recommended.

Perfect for AI Vision Projects
The ESP32-P4 chip is a beast. The RGB display support makes building standalone IoT dashboards incredibly easy without needing external drivers. Camera integration worked flawlessly with the example code.
Q: Does this come with a case or enclosure?
A: This product includes only the development board. Enclosures and expansion modules are sold separately to allow for flexible project customization.
Q: Does this board support connecting a standard Raspberry Pi camera module?
A: The FireBeetle 2 uses a DVP interface. While it cannot directly plug into a Pi CSI camera without an adapter, it is compatible with many DVP standard cameras available in the electronics market.
