Fast shipping and works immediately
Arrived well-packaged. Plugged it in, installed the driver, and started logging serial data within minutes. The voltage selection jumper is very convenient for different target boards.

Solid performance for the price
Using this primarily for ESP32 development. The high-speed UART mode is significantly faster than my old FT232 based adapters. Deducting one star because the silkscreen labels are a bit small.

Great value, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is excellent and speeds are as advertised. The only downside is that the Linux driver documentation could be more detailed, but community forums helped me get it running quickly.

Replaced three different tools

Q: Does this board support 1.8V logic levels?
A: The board natively supports 3.3V and 5V logic levels via the selection jumper. For 1.8V devices, we recommend using an external level shifter to ensure safe operation.
Q: Is there official software provided for the GUI interface?
A: Yes, the manufacturer provides a dedicated utility software for Windows that allows you to configure protocols and view data streams. Linux and macOS users can use standard terminal tools or open-source alternatives.
Q: Can I use this to flash firmware onto an ESP8266?
A: Absolutely. The CH347T supports UART communication which is commonly used to flash ESP8266 and ESP32 modules. Just ensure you connect the TX/RX pins correctly and hold the boot button if required.
Q: What is the maximum current this board can supply to the target?
A: The onboard 3.3V/5V regulator can supply up to 500mA. However, for power-hungry devices, we suggest powering the target board separately and using this adapter strictly for data communication.
