Great value for learning
Excellent board for students and hobbyists. The documentation could be slightly more detailed in English, but the examples provided work flawlessly out of the box.
Q: How do I update the firmware if a new version is released?
A: Firmware updates are performed exactly like command downloads: connect the board to your PC via the USB-to-TTL adapter, open the tool, select the new firmware file, and click download.
Q: What microcontroller is compatible with this board?
A: Since it communicates via standard UART (TTL levels), it is compatible with almost any microcontroller including Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi.
Q: Does this module require an internet connection to function?
A: No, the ASR-PRO performs all voice recognition locally on the chip. It is designed specifically for offline applications to ensure privacy and low latency.
Q: Is a microphone included in the package?
A: The module has a header for an analog microphone. Some kits include a basic mic, but for best performance, we recommend using a high-sensitivity electret microphone purchased separately.
Q: Can I customize the voice commands myself?
A: Yes, you can define up to 80 custom commands using our free PC configuration tool. You simply type the phrases you want the module to recognize and download them via serial.
