Great value, minor documentation gaps
The hardware quality is excellent, especially the gold-plated connectors. I had to dig into the forum for some pinout details not covered in the manual, but once set up, it runs perfectly.

Reliable for factory automation tests
We used this for testing a new motor control algorithm. The industrial temperature rating gives us confidence, and the FMC headers allowed us to connect our custom sensor daughterboards easily.

Solid video processing performance
Managed to implement a real-time color correction pipeline at 1080p60. The board gets slightly warm under full load but remains stable. Would buy again for future projects.
Q: Is the DDR3 memory controller compatible with MIG examples in Vivado 2023.1?
A: Absolutely. The board's memory constraints file is fully compatible with Vivado 2023.1 and later versions. You can generate the MIG core directly using our provided board files.
Q: Can I power this board directly from a standard USB port on my laptop?
A: Yes, the board can be powered via the USB-C port for basic logic operations. However, if you are driving heavy loads on the FMC headers or using high-speed video output, we recommend an external 5V/2A power supply.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed bitstream or is it blank?
A: The board ships with a blank configuration. However, we provide a demo bitstream and source code on our GitHub repository to help you get started immediately.
Q: Are schematic diagrams available for download?
A: Yes, full schematic diagrams and PCB layout files (PDF format) are available in the 'Documentation' section of our official product page to assist with your custom carrier board designs.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported on the HDMI output?
A: The HDMI transmitter supports up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz reliably. Higher resolutions may be achievable depending on your specific design timing constraints, but 1080p is the guaranteed specification.
