Genuine chip confirmed
I was worried about clones but this is the real deal. Clock speeds are stable at 168MHz.
Q: Does this board support MicroPython?
A: Yes, the STM32F407 supports MicroPython. You will need to flash the firmware separately.
Q: Which IDE do you recommend?
A: STM32CubeIDE is free and fully supported. Keil and IAR are also compatible options.
Q: Can I power servos directly from this board?
A: It is not recommended to power high-current servos directly. Use an external power source for motors.
Q: What debugger interface is available?
A: The board exposes SWD and JTAG pins on the header. You can use an ST-Link V2 debugger.
Q: Is the 5V pin output or input?
A: The 5V pin is primarily an input via USB. You can also supply 5V externally to VIN.
