Perfect fit for our servo motors

Solid performance

Robust and reliable

Very solid construction using 45# steel. It handles the misalignment in our conveyor system well. Only giving 4 stars because the documentation could be more detailed regarding torque specs.

Q: Does this coupling require lubrication during operation?

A: No, the DBL diaphragm coupling is designed to be maintenance-free and does not require any lubrication during its service life.

Q: How do I properly install the taper sleeve?

A: Clean the shaft and bore, slide the coupling on, and alternately tighten the screws in a cross pattern to the specified torque value. This ensures the taper sleeve expands evenly and locks tightly.

Q: What is the maximum angular misalignment this model can handle?

A: The DBL31/41 series typically accommodates up to 1.5 degrees of angular misalignment, depending on the specific size selected. Please refer to the technical datasheet for exact values per size.

Q: Is the material suitable for outdoor environments?
