Good quality, slightly stiff initially

The build quality is excellent. The spider element was a bit stiff out of the box but loosened up after a few hours of operation. Great value for the price.

Perfect for my CNC upgrade

This coupling fit perfectly on my NEMA 23 motor and lead screw. The keyway clamping is very secure and eliminated any backlash I had with my old set-screw coupler.

Works well but sizing was tricky

The product itself works great, but make sure you measure your shaft diameters precisely. I had to reorder the correct bore size, which delayed my project slightly.

A: The spider element has a Shore A hardness of 92, providing a balance between flexibility and torque transmission.

Q: Is the spider element replaceable if it wears out?

A: Absolutely. The star elastic element is designed to be easily replaced without removing the hubs from the shafts.

Q: Will this work with a metric 8mm shaft and an imperial 5/16 shaft?

A: You would need to select the specific bore sizes for each hub. We offer custom boring services, or you can purchase hubs with standard metric or imperial bores separately.

Q: Can this handle high-speed applications above 5000 RPM?

A: This specific model is rated for a maximum speed of 4500 RPM. For higher speeds, please consider our high-speed series couplings.
