Excellent misalignment compensation

My motor shaft and lead screw were slightly misaligned. This plum coupling absorbed the error perfectly without causing excessive wear or heat. Highly recommended for precision applications.

Robust and reliable

Good value, fast shipping

Works well for my servo motor project. The elastic insert provides good vibration damping. Only giving 4 stars because the set screws could be slightly higher grade, but overall very satisfied.

Perfect fit for my CNC router

The build quality is excellent. The aluminum feels solid and the bore sizes were exactly as specified. It eliminated the backlash in my lead screw setup immediately.

Q: Does this come with set screws included?

A: Yes, the package includes high-tensile set screws for both hubs. We recommend using thread-locking fluid during installation for high-vibration environments.

Q: How do I select the correct bore size?

A: Please measure the diameter of both your motor shaft and lead screw shaft. You can then select the corresponding bore sizes from the dropdown menu when ordering. Custom boring services are also available upon request.

Q: Can I replace just the elastic spider insert if it wears out?

A: Yes, one of the main advantages of the plum jaw design is that the polyurethane spider insert can be replaced independently without removing the hubs from the shafts.

Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?

A: The aluminum alloy is black anodized for corrosion resistance, making it suitable for mild outdoor conditions. However, for harsh marine or chemical environments, additional protection may be required.

Q: What is the maximum RPM this coupling can handle?
