Good Sensor
Value for money is excellent. Had to adjust code for timing but works well.
Q: Can I use this sensor outdoors?
A: It is not waterproof. Outdoor use is possible only in dry conditions with protection.
Q: What is the accuracy of the measurement?
A: Typically within 3mm under ideal conditions. Surface texture affects results.
Q: How do I prevent interference with multiple sensors?
A: Trigger them sequentially rather than simultaneously to avoid cross-talk.
Q: Is there an Arduino library available?
A: Yes, many open-source libraries exist. You can also use the pulseIn function directly.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V systems?
A: Yes, but the Echo pin outputs 5V. Use a voltage divider to protect 3.3V GPIO pins.
