Instructions could be better
The hardware works fine, but the pinout was not clearly marked on the board itself. Had to look up the datasheet to confirm VCC and GND.

Perfect for night light circuit

Great for Arduino projects

Sensitive but needs tuning
Good module overall. It took some time to get the threshold right for my specific lighting conditions, but once set, it remains stable.
Q: Is the output signal analog or digital?
A: This module provides a digital switch output (TTL level). It goes high or low depending on the light intensity threshold you set.
Q: Can this module handle 12V input?
A: No, the operating voltage is strictly 3.3V to 5V DC. Connecting 12V may damage the comparator chip and the photodiode.
Q: Does the potentiometer adjust sensitivity or threshold?
A: The potentiometer adjusts the detection threshold. Turning it changes the light intensity level required to trigger the output switch.
Q: What is the pinout configuration?
A: The pins are typically labeled VCC, GND, and OUT. Please check the silkscreen on the board for exact positioning.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?
A: The PCB itself is not waterproof. We recommend housing it in a weatherproof enclosure if used outdoors.
