Perfect for my balancing robot
The built-in Kalman filter saves so much processing time on my Arduino. Data is stable and easy to parse via serial.

Wiring was confusing
The pinout wasn't clearly marked on the board I received. Had to check the wiki. Works fine now though.

Excellent value
Bought five for a swarm project. All calibrated well out of the box. Fast delivery too.

Good module, documentation lacking
Hardware works great but finding the right command set for the JY-61 took some digging. Once configured, it's solid.

Stable readings
Much better than raw I2C modules for beginners. The serial output is clean and the noise reduction is noticeable.
Q: Can I use this with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, via USB-to-TTL serial adapter or GPIO UART pins.
Q: Does it require external calibration?
A: It comes pre-calibrated, but you can perform fine-tuning via serial commands if needed.
Q: What is the default baud rate?
A: The factory default is usually 9600bps, but it is configurable up to 115200bps.
Q: Is this 5V tolerant?
A: Yes, the module supports 3.3V to 5V logic levels.
Q: Is the library available for ESP32?
A: Yes, many community libraries support serial IMU modules on ESP32.
