Documentation needs work
Sensor functions well once configured, but the UART protocol documentation was a bit vague. Had to sniff packets to understand fully.

Perfect for automation
Integrated this into my bathroom lighting system. Detects presence even when standing still, unlike PIR sensors. Bluetooth config is a nice touch.

Great value for mmWave
Compared to other 24GHz modules, this is very affordable. Presence detection is reliable for turning on HVAC systems.

Better than expected range
I was worried about the 4m limit but it covers my small office perfectly. Sensitivity settings are flexible enough to ignore pets.

Solid sensor, minor app issues
The hardware works great with my ESP32 project. The mobile app for configuration crashed once but reconnected fine. Detection is very accurate.
Q: Is there a library for Arduino?
A: Community libraries are available, but official support focuses on UART protocol specification.
Q: Does it work through glass?
A: Yes, mmWave signals can penetrate non-metallic materials like glass and thin wood.
Q: Is the Bluetooth module always on?
A: Bluetooth is primarily for configuration; UART is used for real-time data output.
Q: What is the default baud rate?
A: The default UART baud rate is 115200 bps.
Q: Can this detect breathing movements?
A: Yes, it is sensitive enough to detect micro-movements associated with breathing.
