Q: How do I adjust the detection range?
A: There is a potentiometer labeled 'Distance' on the board. Turn it clockwise to increase range and counter-clockwise to decrease.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic boards like Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, the output signal is 3.3V TTL, making it compatible with Raspberry Pi and similar boards.
Q: What is the maximum voltage input?
A: The module can accept DC input between 5V and 20V. We recommend 5V for most microcontroller projects.
Q: Can this module drive a relay directly?
A: No, the output current is low. You should use a transistor or a relay module to drive higher power loads.
Q: Does it work through glass?
A: PIR sensors generally cannot detect motion through glass as infrared radiation does not pass through it effectively.
