No more corrosion!
Finally a sensor that doesn't rust after a month in the dirt. The capacitive design really makes a difference in longevity.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
Works flawlessly with my ESP32. The analog output is stable and easy to read. Much better than the resistive ones I used before.

Good but needs calibration
Sensor is accurate but you need to calibrate for your specific soil type. Once calibrated, it works great for my indoor plants.

Great value
Cheap and effective. The PCB quality is better than expected for the price. Pinout is standard and easy to wire.

Reliable readings
Integrated it into my automatic watering system. Very consistent data over the past two months. Highly recommend for automation.
Q: What are the pin functions on the connector?
A: The three pins are VCC (Power), GND (Ground), and A0 (Analog Output). Please check the silkscreen on the PCB for confirmation.
Q: Is the probe completely waterproof?
A: The sensing area is coated and water-resistant, but we recommend keeping the electronic components above the soil line to prevent damage.
Q: How long does it last in soil compared to resistive sensors?
A: Due to the capacitive design without exposed metal electrodes, it lasts significantly longer than traditional resistive sensors.
Q: Can I use this with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the module supports an input voltage range of 3.3V to 5.5V, making it compatible with 3.3V logic microcontrollers.
Q: Does it come with a specific Arduino library?
A: No, it outputs an analog signal. You can read it using standard analog read functions, though many community libraries support it.
